Imperial Shipyard

The heart of Gdańsk has always been the Imperial Shipyard, a site of immense historical significance for our national heritage. This shipyard is the birthplace of 'Solidarity,' the workers' strikes, and the struggle for independence, freedom of speech, and social justice. It was here, on August 31, 1980, that the Gdańsk Agreements were signed, leading to the creation of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union 'Solidarity.' This marked the first peaceful victory over communism and the beginning of Poland's journey to sovereignty and freedom.
At the Imperial Shipyard, we conducted measurements and laser scanning of the Foundry Department's Molding Shop. Using the point cloud data obtained, a 3D model of the building was created. We also prepared comprehensive 2D documentation, including floor plans, cross-sections, and elevations. The Imperial Shipyard has been undergoing revitalization for several years, with its renovated buildings and well-developed grounds attracting artists, tourists, and residents alike.
